저는 도심항공교통(UAM)을 포함한 미래 항공교통의 안전한 실현을 위해 교통흐름관리, 공역설계, 항공안전을 주제로, 다중객체 경로탐색, 최적화, AI 기법을 활용한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
I explore how future air transportation, including Urban Air Mobility, can be safely realized in the skies with advanced traffic flow management, airspace design, and risk assessment, leveraging methods such as multi-agent pathfinding, optimization, and AI.

ENGINEER
My research interest grew from a fundamental question: how can new airspace users, including drones and eVTOLs, be safely managed alongside conventional aviation? Enabling safe air traffic operations demands meticulous planning and robust safety frameworks. Addressing these challenges has driven my research, with a focus on extending and adapting established air traffic and aviation safety concepts.
TEACHER
Teaching is one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I strive to make complex ideas intuitive, connecting them to real-world examples so that students can grasp not only the 'how' but also the 'why'. My goal is to encourage curiosity, foster critical and creative thinking, and support students in building their own paths as engineers and problem-solvers.
PAST EXPERIENCES

Associate Research Fellow
2021 - 2025
At the Korea Transport Institute (KOTI), I worked on integrating Urban Air Mobility (UAM) into both air and ground transportation systems. My work addressed regulatory and policy frameworks, demand estimation, fleet management simulation, risk and hazard analysis, and public acceptance. I led the planning and conceptual design of a UAM Safety Risk Management framework, intended to serve as a foundational structure for future airspace operations.
